The biggest change in the S11 generation is the new DIAMOND Medium softshell fabric, used on the front of the jacket and the upper sleeves. DIAMOND, a more elastic, protective, and breathable material than the previous generation's SPHERE fabric, improves the garment's aerodynamic design and reduces restrictions to create a second-skin fit that doesn't create pressure. The sleeves of this model are made from ZigZaggy foam, which provides muscle support and weather protection, while the back incorporates a panel of OSMOS Heavy fabric with thermoregulating technology to maintain warmth and maximize breathability in less exposed areas. The medium-weight, mesh-textured LITHIUM Medium fabric is an insulating and highly breathable material that wicks away moisture and regulates internal temperature. The ZigZaggy fabric is a three-layer softshell material with a super-padded lining and extreme elasticity, providing a comfortable, enveloping fit without creating pressure or excess bulk. OSMOS Heavy material is our most insulating thermal fabric, used where heat retention and breathability are essential.
