The Galfer Disc Wave® Fixed 2.0 mm brake discs represent the highest innovation of GALFER in design and technology applied to high-performance cycling. Manufactured by laser cutting in high-carbon stainless steel, they allow replacing the original discs without adaptations, providing superior performance from the first use.
The Disc Wave® design provides powerful, progressive, and modulable braking, with absence of noise and vibrations. With a thickness of 2 mm and reduced weight in the bike frame, these discs ensure efficiency and high-temperature resistance, maintaining high performance in both dry and wet conditions. - MOUNTING RECOMMENDATIONS (SAFETY):
GALFER BIKE recommends mounting oversized discs of Ø223 mm only on radial (Postmount) attachment systems and never on axial IS (International Standard) systems, and only on frames and forks able to withstand the additional stress. Mountings can be carried out on forks and frames with original sizes of Ø180 mm or Ø203 mm without adapters using caliper mounts SB001 and SB002.
