The Galfer Disc Wave® Fixed 2.0 mm brake discs represent the highest expression of GALFER research and development applied to high-demand cycling. Manufactured by laser cutting in high-carbon stainless steel, they bring racing technology to the end user, replacing original discs without adaptations.
The Disc Wave® design provides powerful, progressive, and silent braking, eliminating noise and vibrations. With a thickness of 2 mm and reduced weight in the bike frame, these discs guarantee optimal performance, high-temperature resistance, and efficiency in both dry and wet conditions. - MOUNTING RECOMMENDATIONS (SAFETY):
GALFER BIKE recommends mounting oversized discs of Ø223 mm only on radial (Postmount) attachment systems and never on axial IS (International Standard) systems, on frames and forks capable of handling the additional stress. Mountings can be carried out on forks and frames with original sizes of Ø180 mm or Ø203 mm without adapters using caliper mounts SB001 and SB002.
