With seven Paris-Roubaix victories, our Roubaix has shown that comfort is speed. Up until this point, however, it came with some compromises.

The new S-Works Roubaix delivers performance without compromise by featuring a radical new Future Shock 2.0 that gives you more control and damping options, a new Pavé seatpost that makes our Roubaix the most balanced to date, aerodynamics that match the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered™ frame that brings the scales under 900 grams (Size: 56 cm | Black). Is it still comfortable? Sure, but don't call it a comfort bike, because performance has been behind every engineering decision we've made. That's the new Roubaix.

This Roubaix Sport offers good value for money, but like the frame itself, this value comes with no compromise. We've fitted it with Shimano's 11-speed 105 groupset for its crisp shifting and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, as well as its smooth and durable DT R470 disc brake wheels, the new S-Works Pavé seatpost, 28mm Turbo Pro tyres and our Power Sport saddle.

• The new frame offers all round performance without compromise and all because of the perfect balance between aerodynamics, performance, lightness thanks to FACT 10r carbon and Rider-First Engineering™, with tube shapes that were born in our FreeFoil shape library and validated in the Win tunnel, the new Roubaix is as aerodynamic as the Tarmac SL6. Meanwhile, to ensure lightness and ride quality, we turned to a Rider-First Engineered™ design to deliver optimum stiffness and compliance in all sizes, from 44cm to 64cm. Of course, we've saved a fair amount of frame weight in the process. We've also left enough room to fit 33mm tyres.

• In addition to the new frame, we have also developed a completely new S-Works Pavé seatpost. Not only is it the first compatible seatpost that is aerodynamic, but it also does so without adding extra weight. Starting with the same D-shaped design found on the Tarmac, we took performance a step further by incorporating additional flex at the top and developing a new clamp design with the frame. As a result, it delivers great performance, while remaining perfectly balanced with the front end, and offers a smooth, sublime ride, no matter what the road conditions.

• With 20mm of travel to filter out road irregularities, the Future Shock 1.5 not only offers a smoother and more comfortable ride, but also reduces fatigue and increases speed on rough terrain. The new Smooth Boot improves aesthetics, so you get a clean transition from the steerer tube to the stem.
