The new S-Works Recon shoes offer the performance of our road models for any off-road discipline to all kinds of cyclists: from the most competitive in XC or marathon, to newcomers to gravel from road cycling.

Thanks to the scans of over 100,000 feet in the biomechanical analyses of our RETÜL system, we discovered that a slightly wider carbon sole would better fit the different shapes of the human foot.

The I-Beam that runs through the sole provides rigidity and strength, eliminating the need for additional reinforcements. The result is a stiff, comfortable, and configurable fit, ensuring maximum power transfer.

Inside and out, Body Geometry technology is integrated into the S-Works Recon. With two decades of development experience and data validation, Body Geometry technology ensures there are no pain points, just the best performance where the body connects with the bike. Thanks to the varus wedge, longitudinal arch support, and metatarsal button, your feet are kept in the optimal position while pedaling, as well as aligned with your knee and hip.

• The high-density lateral lugs and new risers allow cyclists to adjust their pedaling interface for maximum efficiency and a road-like pedaling platform.

• Incorporates Body Geometry technology: varus wedge, longitudinal arch support, and metatarsal button.

• The asymmetric heel counter provides support to the inner side and eliminates material from the outer side, allowing for a lower collar.

• The use of an internal I-Beam adds rigidity and strength, eliminating the need for additional reinforcements and keeping the shoe extremely lightweight.

• Reinforcements in the forefoot and midfoot areas maximize support, while the new BOA® system lacing improves hold, eliminating the need for a toe strap.

• Risers of 3mm, 6mm, and 9mm to increase cleat height or address leg length discrepancies are available through Specialized Rider Care.

• For a wider fit, the new base plate is 4mm wider than the standard width (8mm wider than the S-Works Recon Mountain Bike shoes).
