The Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Alloy is here to eliminate all the pros and cons of the trail. Does it devour bumps like a big bike? Checked. Short travel control, comfort, and efficiency? Doubly checked.
And how about a good dose of customization to make it perfect for the only rider that truly matters: you? Checked, checked, checked.
The GENIE shock technology combines a lively and playful ride with a bottomless DH feel.
Traction better than the "Bike of the Year" Stumpjumper EVO.
> Unmatched customization: six-position geometry adjustment, mixed wheel or 29", adjustable spring curve, and much more.
The greatest innovation of the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Alloy is GENIE. This patented air shock technology we invented fulfills the three wishes of any rider: the feel and control of a spring, better bottom-out prevention than a standard air shock, and an adjustable "platform" for a playful feel.
GENIE combines the linear elasticity index of a spring that improves control in the "bump zone" with the progressive elasticity index of an air spring at the end of the stroke to prevent bottoming out. Truly, it’s the best of both worlds, spring and air, with greater adjustability. Say goodbye to compromises and hello to the future of riding: With a bump force management 16.3% better than a traditional air shock, GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 ride like a bike with more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Alloy (with 145 mm rear travel) and our Enduro (170 mm travel) use 101 mm of travel to absorb a bump force of 1080 N.
Extensive field testing shows that the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Alloy with GENIE offers 57% more traction than a standard air shock, as GENIE technology provides flexible, spring-like performance that keeps the wheel in contact with the ground a greater percentage of the time than a typical air shock.
39% fewer bottom-outs than a standard shock. During big impacts, it leverages the rate of increase in the last 30% of the GENIE stroke. Due to this steep two-stage rise rate, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-out hits.
The geometry of this bike offers the capability of a big bike when you need it, a nimble feel in playful sections, and agile, efficient behavior on climbs. The generous cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and control in turns. The low bottom bracket, relaxed head angle, and optimized fork offset maintain stability on rough terrain.
The Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Alloy seamlessly integrates benchmark geometric adjustment, making it the most customizable trail bike in history. Six distinct geometric adjustments allow you to tune performance for any style on any terrain. The head angle and bottom bracket height can be precisely adjusted for stability or clearance.
With our aftermarket shocks, you can choose between large wheels front and rear or mix it up with a 27.5" rear for a more responsive and playful ride. No matter what you choose, the geometry remains unaffected.
The SWAT 4.0 on the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Alloy increases storage in the down tube, an innovation we pioneered. It’s the most weather-resistant storage system.
Our full-suspension bikes are built to be relentless, designed to withstand years of hard pedaling and backed by the best support and policies to keep you on the trail. Our unbeatable lifetime warranty, no questions asked, on the suspension pivot bearings to the original owner is just one of the ways we have you covered.
